Cala Font is one of the four coves in Cap Salou linked by the Coastal Path, along with Cala Vinya, Cala Penya Tallada and Cala Crancs. Its calm waters make it one of the best spots in town for snorkelling.
History & origins
Like the rest of Cap Salou, the area was developed from the 1960s and 1970s onwards, with more marked densification between 2000 and 2010. Cala Font, however, remains a natural cove, spared any heavy development.
Heritage & environment
The cove is directly accessible from the Coastal Path, which links it to Cala Vinya, its immediate neighbour. The bay's rocky configuration limits current and swell, which explains the clarity of the water.
