Situated at the western end of the Turia Gardens, the Parc de Cabecera is home to the Bioparc, a zoo built around recreating ecosystems rather than the classic caged display of animals.
The Bioparc
The Bioparc recreates African ecosystems (savannah and equatorial forest) with no visible barriers between the animals and visitors. The visit takes at least 3 hours.
The Parc de Cabecera
The surrounding Parc de Cabecera extends the Turia Gardens and offers extra green space, a natural complement to a visit to the Bioparc.
